Music Everywhere

 I learned new music from all around the world and in different areas with different cultures and background but also have not really touched a lot that I think are cool and interesting to know about. So, tag along and read what I saw and learned about types of music and how some of them are traditional or modern in these different places! --------------------------------- 1. Brazil (South America)  So, my first selection was Brazil, and I chose this because there are many different types of music that are very unique and almost creative. The song I chose is traditional and this type of music is called 'Maxixe' which dates back to the 70's-80's and was originated in Rio de Janeiro. The song I chose was "Fico Assim Sem VocĂȘ" and the reason I chose this one was because it sounded very soft and calm, kind of as if it can be played on a relaxing Sunday afternoon.  Hi, I am Brandon Vallecillo, and I am a student in this class of music and diverse cultures. I never really played an instrument or was into music or bands like that, but I really enjoy listening to music and hearing different types of sounds from different areas. I grew up in Greer, SC but moved to Campobello in 5th grade so I had a new and fresh start my 6th grade year with new people and a new environment. I play soccer which is the best sport of all time in my opinion, and I am in the Men's soccer program for Converse University. My favorite team is Real Madrid, and I have played soccer for almost my whole life.  The one in black and yellow is me. I've traveled to some places which include Denver, Spain, Chicago, Wisconsin, and more, but some of them involved soccer and tournaments.  1.
